On Sunday, August 30th, 2026, at 7:26 am EDT, the Space X Falcon Heavy Rocket carried Nancy Grace to supersonic speed from NASA Kennedy Space Center. Each booster executed precision return landings at separate pads within twenty minutes from launching.
Roman’s Telescope Will Explore Dark Matter, Dark Energy And Exoplanets
Roman’s Telescope will explore Dark Matter, Dark Energy and Exoplanets. The Roman Coronagraph has a photosensor capability of 300,000,000 pixels. Specifically useful to capture moons and stars orbiting other Jupiter-like planets. A technology referred to as NASA’s Habitable Worlds Observatory will also allow scientists to identify signs of life on other planets. Equipment that is already being developed for not so distant future missions.
The Roman Space Telescope
The Roman Space Telescope was designed by scientists at NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Roman can be considered a sibling mission to NASA’s successful Rubin and Euclid missions. The entire Roman project was orchestrated and completed ahead of deadline and under budget.

Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will capture first ever image and video of black holes, supernovae, the milky way, and humankind’s deepest observation into the Cosmos. While NASA currently has no plans to refuel Nancy Grace, the satellite has been geared for that type of mission! Roman has an otherwise functional life expectancy of five years.
Roman’s launch was cause for a brief but polite phone call interruption by American President Donald Trump. A new level of gratitude for NASA’s ongoing successful Deep Space Network campaigns.
